What is the project about?
 
This project forms part of collaboration in a partnership agreement between the Nelson Mandela University and the iKamvelihle Development Trust (iKDT). It is focused on the establishment of a Community of Practice and the co-construction of a School Development Programme. The initiative involves three pilot schools in Cala, a rural area located within the Chris Hani District Municipality of the Eastern Cape.

CCS visit April 2021: As part of its visit to Cala, the Centre for the Community School visited schools to monitor and evaluate their school improvement plans.

At both Mnxe Primary School and Guata Junior School, two new toilets were installed for boys and girls
