What is the project about?
 
The Safety and Security Action Learning Set (SASALS) comprises of learners, parents and teachers from six high schools in the Northern Areas namely; Arcadia , Bertram, Booysen’s Park High, Chatty, Sanctor and Westville.  SASALS is co-constructing a safety and security plan which will be implemented in the schools.  SASALS is one of the Golden thread projects – these are projects which are led by the CCS, developed in collaboration with identified stakeholders of the school and implemented in all schools.

Development of an organic safety and security framework for the six schools
Developed a survey based on data collected from the various stakeholders in the school
